See How D'Banj Shunned Don Jazzy At Rhythm Unplugged

Click for Full Image Size
Like the usual saying that when things fall apart, centre holds no more, this best describes the attitude the two once-upon-a-time-bosom friends, D;banj and Don Jazzy, displayed during the last Rhythm Unplugged Show in Lagos.

It is obvious that the feud between these two best of friends is yet to be settled.

Don Jazzy announced last week that he was opening a nightclub almost immediately; the Koko Master also announced that he would be opening a nightclub.

This competition between the two recently generated to the event centre where the music and comedy show was held as they snubbed each other like sworn enemies.

Many artists who came on stage to perform at the rhythm unplugged kept hailing Don Jazzy who sat at the V.I.P but when D'banj mounted the stage during Kay Switch's performance neither him nor his brother took any cognizance of Don Jazzy's presence but just kept performing on and after they finished, they left the stage without exchanging any pleasantry

This raise some eyebrows on whether these two former Mohits Records owners are still in good talking terms

A retired farmer from the Hunan province decided to jokingly model a
set of women's clothing. This turned him into an online sensation
after they went viral in the Chinese social network Weibo. He got a
contract modeling for the Yecoo Fashion Store; their sales jumped from
$160-a-day to more than $1100.
The Yecoo website has attracted more than 250,000 views and Weibo has
recorded almost 10 million searches for"grandfather," which is how
he's known. His success doesn't seem to have gotten to his head. He's
grateful for what this has done for his granddaughter.

He turned his misfortune to fortune!!

We’ve all heard the old saying “If you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em.”
Well, that’s exactly what Qian Zhijun of China did. In 2003, someone
took a picture of Qian on the busy street of Shanghai. Then, as
pictures often do, it ended up on theInternet and went viral. People
began superimposing Qian’s face onto other images and gavehim the
nickname “Little Fatty.” Unfortunately, he had no idea that he was
gaining such a massive following until someone went up to him in a
cafĂ© and asked if he was the “real” Little Fatty.
Initially humiliated, Qian said, “I have tried to turn sorrow into
strength. At least this makes people smile and I have had quite
apositive response.” After making the most of the situation, he’s now
a mega superstar and has been named one of the most famous faces in
China. He’s starred in both movies and TV shows and was named Online
Person of the Year in2006.

Man claims that wife charms him

Lagos – A civil servant, Adeyemi Jolugbo, 32, on Wednesday urged an Igando Customary Court in Lagos to dissolve his four-year-old marriage which he claimed he was forced into by the wife with a charm. Jolugbo told the court that he had come backto his senses and was not willing to continue in such a marriage. He said that his wife Bukola, was fetish and was not prepared to abandon fetish acts. The petitioner said that Bukola, 31, took him to a cleric shortly after they met in 2008, for some incantationsaimed at luring him into the union. “When we got there, the cleric brought out two wooden dolls – male and female. “He recited some incantations and asked me to say that I will love Bukola, marry her and listen to her forever. AsI was saying this, he was tying the two dolls together with a rope. “After that he told me to go and throw the two dolls in a river,” he said. Jolugbo said that since Bukola moved into hishousetwo months into their courtship, he had been giving her anything she requested for, including his ATM cards for withdrawal of huge amounts of money. “If I ask her what she used the money for she will not give me a satisfactory answer. “When I was seriously ill, my wife did not take care of me; anytime she came to the hospital it was for my ATM cards.’’ The petitioner also accused his wife of regularly coming to his office to abuse him and tell his boss that he was irresponsible. Responding, Bukola, a graphic artist, admitted that she took Jolugbo to the cleric for the good of their marriage. She also said that she reported her husband to his boss when he refused to come home and urged the court not to dissolve the marriage because “I still loved him’’. The Court President, Mr Adewale Eko, orderedthe petitioner to give Bukola N5,000 weekly for the upkeep of the two children until judgment in the case. Eko adjourned the case to Jan.24, 2013, for further hearing. (NAN)
