Eminem Becomes A Born Again Christian?
Eminem could now be a born again Christian, according to a new rumor.A source from the rapper's hometown of Detroit claims to have witnessed Eminem's transformation firsthand through some of his recent actions, according to AllHipHop.com.
He stated that Eminem has been going through many changes as of late and has removed himself "from the depths of the music industry," and has also refused to conform to what is expected from him in the business.
Eminem, known for his shock value lyrics as well as his vivid storytelling and superior lyrical capabilities confessed to being a Christian on a song on his first album Infinite, which was released before his major label debut The Slim Shady LP.
"But in the midst of this insanity, I've found my Christianity through God and there's a wish he granted me," raps Eminem on "It's Ok." "He showed me how to cope with this stress and hope for the best, instead of moping depressed."
After penning these lyrics, Eminem went on to become an international superstar in the music world, selling millions of albums. The content in his music also continuously changed along the way as he began rapping as his alter ego Slim Shady who could be a serial killer one day and a drug addict the next.
During his career, Eminem has also penned inspirational hits such as "Lose Yourself" and "Not Afraid" that were closer to "It's Ok" in terms of positive content.
The rapper has admitted in interviews that he prays on a somewhat regular basis, but still releases music laced with profanity and sexually explicit lyrics.
Many hip-hop artists claim to be Christians and still put out music that is offensive to many believers.
Eminem's recent spiritual transformation is still unconfirmed at this time.

Sister Accidentally Shoots Brother Dead While Posing For A Facebook Picture - Video

Manuel Ortiz died instantly after being shot in the head at about 6am on Monday morning.
Family and friends wept as his body was carried from his apartment in Phoenix, Arizona, where the shooting took place.
Police said 22-year-old Ortiz and his sister Savannah Ramirez arrived back at the home they shared on New Year’s Eve after spending the night drinking.
They were with two other people when someone in the group pulled out the handgun to take photos with it.
As the 19-year-old posed and played around with the weapon it went off striking Ortiz in the head, according to ABC15.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is not known if the group knew the handgun was loaded.
Police say she has been questioned and released pending further investigation in the case.
Phoenix Police Sgt Steve Martos said the victim's sister would likely be charged with manslaughter if tests conclude she had alcohol in her system.
'Every New Year's Eve, this particular sister is going to be thinking about this for the rest of her life on how...drinking overnight, playing with a gun and now shoots and kills her brother,' said Phoenix Police Sgt Steve Martos.
Friends said the shooting was a terrible accident.
One friend who wanted to remain anonymous said she wanted to remember Ortiz as a 'kind, funny guy he was'.
'He was a very close friend to everybody. He was just always there and it's sad because one second he's here and the other he's not.'
'Every time he saw somebody sad or down he would be right there making jokes so you could be happy. Even if he was just having a hard time he was always there for someone,' said the friend.
Authorities are looking into who owns the gun.
On both Manuel and his sister's Facebook pages there are numerous shots of them posing with guns and making gang symbols.

A stunning photograph that captures the moment when a newly born baby emerges from her mother’s womb has become one of the first viral hits of 2013 after the proud parents posted it on Facebook for friends and family to share.
Alicia Atkins of Glendale, Arizona gave birth to daughter, Nevaeh, via Caesarean section on October 9. Her husband Randy snapped this touching image of a baby entering the world for the first time and grabbing hold of the doctor’s fingers.
'The doctor called me over and said, "Hey, she's grabbing my finger,"' Randy told 3TV News. 'So I ran over there and just grabbed the shot and I was just in awe looking at it. It was such an amazing picture.'
Wife Alicia is the professional photographer in the family and owns A Classic Pin-Up photo studio.
On December 26, she posted the photo on her company Facebook page for family and friends to see.
She also wrote: 'This was 10 weeks ago when I was having my c-section and Dr. Sawyer broke my water and my daughter reached up out of my stomach and grabbed the Dr.'s finger and my hubby caught this special moment.
'Truly amazing.'
'I am in awe of this photo.'
'Something to remember forever.'
Much to her surprise, the photo has really captured people’s attentions, so far it has received over 1,800 likes, more than 500 shares and 260 comments – overwhelmingly positive reactions to the Atkins sharing such an intimate and special moment.
'We didn't think we were going to get such positive feedback. We thought we would get more negative 'that's disgusting,'" Alicia told KTVK. '[Instead] everybody just thought it was the best thing in the world.'
Baby Nevaeh - Heaven spelt backwards – is doing very well and enjoying family life with her parents and and two older siblings.

Photographer Killed While Shooting Bieber’s Car
LOS ANGELES (AP) — Police say a paparazzo was hit by a car and killed after taking photos of Justin Bieber’s white Ferrari on a Los Angeles street.
Los Angeles police Officer James Stoughton says the photographer, who was not identified, died at a hospital shortly after the crash Tuesday evening. Stoughton says Bieber was not in the Ferrari at the time.
The sports car was parked on the side of Sepulveda Boulevard near Getty Center Drive after a traffic stop. The photographer was struck as he walked across the boulevard after taking pictures.
Stoughton says no charges are expected to be filed against the motorist who hit the man.
A call to a spokesperson for the singer was not immediately returned Tuesday night.

When our correspondent called cross-over actress, Foluke Daramola, she was all tears and when asked what was responsible for her weeping state, she said the industry had lost an actress, revealing her to be Komolafe.
She was slightly sick, she died in the University College Hospital, Ibadan after suffering complications from a four-month pregnancy which resulted in a miscarriage.
Actress Lizzy Anjorin, who told our correspondent that she got wind of the news via the picture of the late actress displayed by some of her BlackBerry contacts, added that if it was true then it was a huge loss. She stated, ‘‘I had met her on set many times. She is a nice person, a very nice actress.’’
Also, popular comedy actor, Bolaji Amusan, otherwise called Mr. Latin, said he heard the news on Tuesday. Commenting on the deaths in the industry, Mr. Latin explained that death was not occurring only among actors and actresses.
Saying everybody would definitely die someday, he noted that there was nothing anyone could do when death comes.
He added, “People die daily. Only God knows the number of people that have died globally between the last day in 2012 and the New Year. But because of our closeness to some people and for the fact that they are famous, we tend to express great loss when they die. The popularity of dramatists and the love people have for them often make their fans lament whenever any of them dies.’’
According to him, even if a dramatist dies five years ago, the death of another one may make some people to say that many of the industry practitioners are dying.
‘‘It is the love they have for actors and actresses that make them think so. Death is inevitable. But it is so sad that while people are rejoicing for the New Year, friends, fans and colleagues of Komolafe are mourning. She was a great and talented actress, very promising,’’ he noted.
The deceased actress had featured in Igboro Ti Daru, Omo Ghetto and Imisi Esu.
In 2012, the industry lost dramatists such as Akin Ogungbe, Gogo Ombo, Ahmed Oduola (Dento), Enebeli Elebuwa and Pete Eneh.
